It seems lately I could plan, I could plot and try to replicate every little detail when it comes to doing photo sessions, but I have found that the ones I always seem to love the most are the ones that happen spontaneously. The ones I haven’t stressed over, planned for or tried to re-create. An example of this is in the photo’s I took last night. I pulled my camera out to take some pics of the beautiful pink roses that have bloomed in my flower garden. It was the perfect time of the evening with that warm golden sun and I thought what better time to get out and grab a few shots.
Well my flowers turned out great, but it was the interaction between my son and his dog that really stole my heart. Timber is our big, goofy and utterly lovable dog. He is 6 years old and is a Great Pyrenes olde English Sheep Dog cross……and a more laid back animal I have never met. He has the perfect tempermant, social, loyal and most of all lovable. My son is very fond of Timber and last night they were playing and I thought what a perfect opportunity to take some photos.
You’d think that it would be tougher for me to hold the attention of the animal as opposed to my son, but that wasn’t the case. He really didn’t want to sit still and let me take a few shots…..so bribery was put into place….nothing the promise of a few chocolate almonds wouldn’t fix!
So below you will see one of many great little moments I captured of our son and our dog. I love them ALOT and am considering blowing it up to put on the wall. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. ![]()
