delicious and easy Monster Cookies – My families favourite

Monster Cookies have long been a favourite of my crew.

And It was afterall  a dreary, rainy day here today.  Not that I am complaining though.  We needed the moisture; a dry and hot summer plagued by forest fires is not my idea of a fun vacation. What better time to pull out the kitchenaid and go about making a BIG batch of something……

I could have made a cake or maybe a loaf or two, but you see I have two other fine fella’s that call this place home too.  I’ll admit they are cute and I kinda have a soft spot for them. 

So when they started pestering me to make some Monster Cookies. I couldn’t refuse…Could I?

You  know the ones I am talking about.  Chalk full of M&M’s, chocolate chips, crispy rice cereal and an ooey gooey, peanut buttery mound to hold it all together.  Yes these are the cookies dreams are made of (if you ask my husband )  I will confess I to enjoy them and lets be real here, they are good for us right??   

My go-to recipe is an ole’ faithful kind of recipe.  It’s been around for years, used my many and always yields fabulous results…..oh and a TON of cookies!  I mean I was cookin’ all day long, this recipe makes a big batch so be sure you like them as much as we do or at least have some wonderful friends and family to share with…otherwise you will be eating these until September.
